Advantages of trading indices

Multiple components

By trading indices, you gain exposure to a broad range of stocks, rather than just one company.

High
liquidity

Indices typically have high liquidity, making it easier to enter and exit positions.

Cost effective trades

Since you're trading a basket of stocks, you don't need to buy each stock separately.

Lower volatility

While indices can experience significant moves, they tend to be less volatile than individual stocks
